June 19th was our 14th wedding anniversary. Wow, how our life has changed since then. We have moved 4times, bought two houses,and had two kids. I think back on that day and how I would have love to change 100 things about our wedding from the place, the colors, the music etc. Actually, I get a little sad thinking about it. After 14years, I don't speak to any of my bridesmaids and maid of honor. Every anniversary I think of this and it's very saddening. I was talking about this to a co-worker and she was surprised and said that her wedding party contained her cousins. I told her one of mine was my cousin & I don't speak to her either. I think not having a sibling makes it harder because I put a lot into a friendship and then end up left when you each go your separate ways due having kids, life events, etc. I regret a lot but in the end, I married my best friend!
We didn't do anything for our anniversary but spend 7 hours in the car driving to Gulf Shoes AL. We had a great trip to the beach.
